i have no idea but i would sure like to know too, i dont think it would hurt to try though u know?…i dont know if i have a mental illness, but i know i have some issues dealing with stress, emotions, and anxiety….and i never thought about doing stuff like pilates! thanks for posting this ? !

  1. Dear Sunshine: Yes these aides will work but I will give you a very useful suggestion. As you read and go through this literature, start a notebook on the parts that you find most interesting and useful that you feel will fit into your daily life. Also in your notebook, note parts that you found absurd and why. This will help you identify personal issues and biases that you may want to address, identify or overcome in the future. A strong reaction to any of this type of advice is very helpful for understanding yourself. And sometimes others who may think or act that way. Best to you!

  2. I would say YES. Anything that gets you thinking about taking care of yourself in a proactive way is positive thinking and a proactive approach to mental illness….so do them.
