Q&A: Do you ever sit down in a chair while cleaning? ?

Question by raisinette: Do you ever sit down in a chair while cleaning? ?
I’m talking like wiping off the counters, washing dishes, ect.

I find even when I’m cooking I’m just sitting in a chair. I still do yoga, pilates, and tai chi, but like in the mornings when things HAVE to get done, I’m so so so tired. (i’m eight months btw)

I’m just curious if anyone else does this and if they do or whatever does anyone have any tips for those of us who are worn out?

  1. I used to when I was 7 to 8 months along. I even had to work sitting down mostly(thank god my employer is understanding). I couldn’t handle the pressure in my pelvic region so that is why I sat mostly.
As for being worn out, I would take lots of naps when I could, and got my husband to help me do things.
I’m more worn out now that my son is here…and he is 6 months old now. 🙂 Good luck and congrats!

  2. hey i have 3 weeks to go and i do the SAME thing. i cook on a stool and i clean the living room and dust sitting down lol. i fold laundry on the couch and have to have my husband bring it up the stairs for me cuz im too exhausted to go up them and then back down. i even sit down in the shower on a foot stool ha ha. i even get tired just making a sandwich to eat. i feel out of breath no matter what i do. guess it will be over soon for us 🙂 then we’ll be super tired from baby 🙂 good luck with your pregnancy!!

  3. I’m 9 months..and it’s so funny because I have 2 other children and I find myself feeling SO guilty if I am tired! It’s so strange, I feel like I need permission to take a nap. My husband thinks I’m nuts because he’s always like sheesh woman go lay down. I had my brother laugh at me and say well..you are creating another human..so yea it’s ok t be tired. I have NO tips actually..I ALWAYS get tired around noon and can barely keep my eyes open no matter what and I always have bursts of energy at weird hours of the day. I know that I’ll be dead tired here in 3 days after I’m induced and I have the baby home. Good luck I know i wasn’t that helpful. But I haven’t found a thing that makes me less sleepy. 🙂

  4. Yes, I would get horribly dizzy while doing the dishes so I either sit in a chair or do like 3 or 4 dishes at a time but then they never seem done.
