Or would it be wasting time as it wouldnt give the benefits that pilates gives?

it would make a difference however if you can do it, I would recomend 45 min. because that will give you an extra 45 min. a week by doing only an extra 15 min. a day, plus I’ve found for some weird reason doing 45min. of pilates just works lol, however if you can only do 30min. it should be fine, that’s about all we did when I took it in school since it took so long to get out of our uniforms and into normal clothes.

  1. It depends on what you are doing in that 30 minutes. Thirty minutes is usually enough for me to kick most of my clients butts, but that is in a private session. That being said, most mat classes are 30 minutes and they certainly can make a difference a couple times a week.

    Remember that no exercise alone will get you in great shape. Pilates is all about Centering, Concentration, and Control and will help you discover your bodies limits and needs. Understanding this process will increase your ability to focus your body.
