Pilates on Fifth Video: EP 01 – THE HUNDRED

The Hundred is an original Pilates exercise which flattens your abs and strengthens your core. The goal is to keep your stomach as flat as possible by contracting your abdominal muscles while holding your head, shoulders and legs off the floor. “The Hundred” gets its name from the 100 counts you hold the position! 1. Nice video of level one.
    Great spinal imprint example.
How about a video showing levels 2,3 and 4
    with the fitness ball?

    Great work.

  2. Why are the legs raised at a 45% angle? I do The Hundred with my feet straight and heels raised about two inches above the floor.

  3. my mom does this 4 a living 😉 she was a gymnast lvl 10 offered olipyics she sed no, and can still do backhandsprings and flips and splits at the age of 40 🙂 im so proud of her <3

  4. probably one of the best pilates videos, maybe its because I like the exercises. As a guy this got my interest, i wanted something that looked challenging

  5. e a respiração?..and the breath?… where? terrific tecnique… very fast… concentration?… my God….

  6. exelente, no importan los malos comentarios, pero para realizar esos movimientos hay que estar muy concentrada y tener mucha práctica, sino pueden lastimarse

  7. Absolutely stunning, and wow what a person can achieve with this apparatus is mesmerising to watch, thank you for sharing it.

  8. Hi NexusNow1,
Thank you so much for the kind words. Yeah, a new Pilates enthusiast – I see it already! I would most certainly enjoy directing the beginning of your journey. The best thing to do is to e-mail me at: uniqueharmony@gmail.com
this way I will have your e-mail address and send you information on the 4 DVD’s that I have produced and that are available and I can answer any questions you may have. My pleasure, Jeanne…..hope you get this

  9. Wow. I just recently have been researching Pilate’s and considering a Reformer. I come from a weight lifting/ body building background, but lower back issues have been making that more and more difficult. I have been using resistance bands and see similarities in the Reformer. Your grace and strength in the videos is remarkable. If you have videos for sale I would be interested. You really open up whats can be accomplished on a Reformer. I will check into your offerings. Thanks again.Inspiring!

  10. I am a Stott Pilates instructor and although I like your fluidity to the movement and your creativity, your form is more yoga style. A little too much movement in the lumbar spine which is fine for you if you have the muscular stability, but maybe not as a demo for someone who has yet to gain that.

  11. Gives me motivation. She makes it look so easy! Only diligence and dedication over a long period of time can yield such finesse.
