Question by Alice: Besides swimming, what are good aerobic exercises that I can do, that work out every muscle?
I am a swimmer, and I know that it is one of the best forms of exercise, since it works every muscle. Can you recommend some other good ways to exercise?

  1. You have a couple of alternatives. Pilate’s uses all your muscles.and like swimming it gives you a good work out of your muscles but it doesn’t leave you feeling all done in like you do with other exercises. Also, if you are limber, which you should be from all the swimming you should give Yoga a try. I find that both Pilate’s and yoga to be good substitutes for swimming, which is also my favorite sport. I have a lot of problems with my joints and can”t do most exercises, but have no problems doing these. Also, sometimes I enjoy just dancing around while listening to music on the radio or putting on a CD, you can enjoy the music and can get a good work out. You may not work out all your muscles, but you do get a work out.
