I’d love to be flexible but I’m not sure if my body will let me (I’ve tried yoga and pilates- nothing). Is there a way to tell if I can be flexible?

Anyone can be flexible, it just takes training and time.

Tip: Try yoga / pilates etc after a hot shower. It will warm up the muscles, tendons and ligaments in your body, giving them more ability to stretch and twist.

Also, dont push yourself too hard. Forcing it may cause tears or breaks – which never heal to their original strength and cause scaring.

M friend does yoga and it has done wonders for her. I tried it however and due to recurring lower back problems it was not a good match for me. In theory there are instructors that can aork around this but I would rather just stick to the gym.

I have done pilates at home. Good stretch, core strengthening.

Question by raisinette: Do you ever sit down in a chair while cleaning? ?
I’m talking like wiping off the counters, washing dishes, ect.

I find even when I’m cooking I’m just sitting in a chair. I still do yoga, pilates, and tai chi, but like in the mornings when things HAVE to get done, I’m so so so tired. (i’m eight months btw)

I’m just curious if anyone else does this and if they do or whatever does anyone have any tips for those of us who are worn out?

Yea I do! I can hardly stand up long enough to do a few dishes! Ah the joys of pregnancy! Lol!
