Question by pinkghost15: Should I lose weight first and then start pilates or do both at the same time?
Hi, I really want to lose 30lbs because I’m about 50lbs overweight. But I also want to get a really tight core like I used to have but I don’t know whether I should start running and lose the weight first and THEN start pilates for my abs and stuff or if I should do both.

Question by ♪♫♪: How many minutes of pilates should I do?
I am wanting to put pilates in my work out routine. I do 45 minutes of cardio a day and was going to start doing pilates, but how many minutes of it should I do? I planned on doing it 5 days a week after I do my cardio. Also, anyone who has done pilates, how long did it take until you started seeing results?

Would Pilates be a sustainable strength workout by itself or should I aim to do more in addition with Pilates?

Question by First_time_mommy: Would Pilates be a sustainable strength workout by itself or should I aim to do more in addition with Pilates?
I’m trying to do strength training 3 times a week and I was wondering if Pilates would be a sufficient enough strength exercise by itself or should I be doing more with weights? I am not trying to bulk up, just lose weight and get toned. I already do cardio 3 times a week.
